Temporary Padel at the Hallamshire

We are thrilled to introduce a temporary Padel court to Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club, available from September 2024. This 6-month trial offers our members the chance to experience Padel, an exciting and rapidly growing sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. The court, set up on outdoor tennis court 2, allows us to assess interest and feasibility for potentially installing permanent Padel courts in the future. During this trial period, we invite all members to give Padel a try, enjoy the new experience, and provide valuable feedback that will help shape the future of Padel at our club.

Our Board and Management are committed to expanding the range of sports and activities available at Hallamshire. The introduction of the temporary Padel court aligns with our mission to create a vibrant, inclusive environment where members can explore new sports and build community connections. We have carefully considered feedback from members and the practicalities of implementing this trial, such as court availability during peak times and seasonal challenges. We encourage members to use the court, embrace the opportunity to play Padel, and contribute to the ongoing discussion about the future of Padel at the club.
